NBA HUMANITARIANS -- TOP 3
1. DIKEMBE MUTOMBO (Houston Rockets)
Supports: fostering, adoption, orphanages, HIV AIDS care, at risk children, disaster relief, education, health care, and the poverty relief. He started “The Dikembe Mutombo Foundation” which seeks to improve the education, health, and quality of life of the people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

2. ADONAL FOYLE (Orlando Magic)
He opened “The Adonal Foyle Reading and Learning Center” in Canouan, participated in the “Making the Grade Program” (which ensures that kids go to/stay in high school), raised money for HIV AIDS research, founded “Democracy Matters” (provides college students with information about Democracy in an engaging manner), and started “The Kerosene Lamp Foundation, Inc.”, a charitable organization that researches new athletic and academic youth programs.

3. TIM DUNCAN (San Antonio Spurs)
Tim Duncan cares about the community of San Antonio. On a mission to give back to San Antonio, the Virgin Islands, and North Carolina, he established “The Tim Duncan Foundation”. With the funds from events such as the SlamDuncan Charity Golf Classic and the Tim Duncan Bowling For Dollar$ Charity Bowl-A-Thon, Duncan has raised approximately $917,000. This money has been distributed to: breast and prostrate cancer research and testing, San Antonio’s Children’s Shelter, Roy Maas’ Youth Alternatives, San Antonio Downtown Youth Center, and Kids Sports Network.
